How to go Recovery mode/Single user mode in Ubuntu



1.       Reboot  system 

2.       While reboot  Hold left “SHIFT” key in keyboard

3.       Go to line of Recovery Mode


4.       Go to line of Drop to root Shell Prompt


5.       Type root  password


6.   By default root partition mount in Read only mode.  You will need to remount root partition in Read/Write mode for any changes. 

Run below command:


Now you Successfully enter in to recovery mode/safe mode with read/write access. You can now start troubleshooting.
